De Malee Villas Resort is set amidst lush nature en route to Ao Nang, Krabi province. This boutique hotel project consists of a common area building and seventeen pool villas.
The project was designed to create a seamless blend between indoor and outdoor spaces, emphasizing airiness, spaciousness, and unity with nature. Each villa features a living room that opens completely to the pool, complemented by a translucent roof. The bedrooms are designed to open up, effectively resembling a traditional Thai pavilion (sala).
Natural materials such as wood and stone were selected to enhance the feeling of closeness to nature. The roofs are finished with green clay tiles, a color specifically chosen to ensure complete harmony with the resort’s natural surroundings.
